'find joy'

Hello everyone..hope you are all great!

I found a new Russian challenge blog a little while ago called Vintage Cafe Card Challenge,
and I saw a beautiful new theme they had going called 'French Vintage'.

'find joy'

More details on the challenge you can find here....

We are pleased to offer you a new job))) of this we still have not)))
Need to make a card or page in the style of French Vintage
Accept work until October 25, inclusive)))

Style French vintage (vintage french) - it is nothing like a modern interpretation of the Norman style, particularly in handmade medium and style of Simplicity (Simplisiti), using specific prints.

The main distinguishing features 5 style French vintage (vintage french):

1 Colour: white, maybe sometimes use shades gray-blue, cold pearly pink, cream, lavender, lilac, beige, gray and silver - gray.
2 Print (picture) - monochrome, retro styled under the more likely it is: logo, label, labels, etc.
3 Sophistication, some aristocratic.
4 Artificial aging - wear, patina, crackles, etc.
5 Easy. Simplisiti - clearly expressed the idea of using the lowest possible decorative elements.

I loved the collage photos and I thought the 5 requisites were interesting. I love the look of really distressed white paint, so I though I would try to create a shabby page with only black and white......
it was really hard to not add color!

Here are some close ups....

The paper is the new Epiphany line from Prima. I added lots of masking, stamping
and some Blue Fern Studios chipboard that I painted white.

So glad you dropped by,
Until next time...

  13. Oh, Lisa! This is beautiful layout! Who is depicted in the photo? This young woman is very similar to the famous Russian poet Anna Akhmatova. Surprisingly, this image came to you on behalf of the Russian assignment blog. Wikipedia about Anna Akhmatova: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Akhmatova
