'Dream of Tomorrow'

Hello girls, I have some exciting news to share!
If you follow my blog at all, you'll already know that I am enamored with Russian scrappers,
and I love to enter a lot of Russian challenges too. I had the nicest invitation from the girls at
Mixed Media & Art, a brand new Russian challenge blog absolutely brimming
with some of the most beautiful projects I have ever seen!
It's such an honor to be on this team, and this is the first page I have created.

'Dream of Tomorrow'

When I saw the January moodboard, I fell in love with the deep rich plums and purples and wanted
these colors to be the star of my layout.

Please check out this challenge here,
there are so many drop dead gorgeous projects,
you're bound to feel inspired!

I added a few pieces of 2 Crafty Chipboard, 'Moroccan Bits' and 'Art Deco Heart'
that I painted white.

I used some super thick modeling paste through some stencils to create lots of texture,
and then while that was wet I added some 13 arts microbeads and holographic glitter
for some glamour :)

Thanks for looking!
I hope to see you join us this month...
Hugs,
Lisa xo

'Dreams Come True' a new layout for 13 arts

Hi my crafty ladies, I'm back to share a page I designed for 13 arts using a lovely
sketch designed by our fearless leader, Aida.
Did you know that 13 arts hosts a monthly sketch challenge?
We'd love for you to join us and enter your layout for a chance to win an
amazing 13 arts prize pack! You can find the sketch and how to enter on the
13 arts FaceBook page called 13 arts ARTelier, here.

'Dreams Come True'

How sweet is this title? Watching my boy grow into a young man is definitely my
best dream come true, he lights up my world like no one else and I feel so lucky to have him.
I started with a paper called 'Feeling Blue' from the 'Aura Rosa' collection, and then used some 13 arts inks in 'Cobalt Blue' and 'Chalk Yellow Amber' to light up my page with some rich colors.
Following the sketch, I created my background with a couple of stencils, one with hexagon shapes and one with a curly design, some modeling paste, then added lots of silver and glass microspheres for some texture.

Here is the sketch:

And here are some close ups:

I used a little 2 Crafty Chipboard circle as a frame around my photo that I painted white
and then sprinkled with white glitter.

For a full list of 13 arts products I used, please visit my post here.

I hope you feel inspired to try your hand with this sketch :)

'Winter Wishes'

Good evening girls....I hope everyone is staying warm and cosy :) I've been playing with my
'Scraps of Elegance' 'Christmas Cheer' kit again and this is what I created last night.

'Winter Wishes'

How pretty is this Blue Fern Studio paper? I love the colors and the criss cross design. I used a lot from the kit, the 'Vintage Christmas' papers that I tore up to build up my layers, the 'Sweet Peppermint' journaling cards, Prima flowers from the Floral Add On, and the Prima 'Sweet Peppermint' stamp.

I think my shabby chic pages are my still my favourite, although I have to add lots
of messy inks to every page, it's just my 'thing' :)

You can find our kits to purchase here,
and don't forget we have a fantastic Facebook group here,
where we love to see everyone's work with our kits.

Our new kits are shipping this week, so I'll be back soon with some more inspiration for you,
Big hugs,
Lisa xo

'Believe'

Hello girls, I'm back to share another layout I created with the Scraps of Elegance kit
'Christmas Cheer' in green and gold.

'Believe'

Lots of beautiful Blue Fern Studios papers in this kit, I love how thick their papers are,
it can take a lot of mixed media and still hold up great. There are a lot of yummy layers to
this page with some ripped papers, chipboards that I embossed in gold
and some of the cotton lace that came in the kit.

To find out how to purchase our kits, please go here.
And don't forget to check out our blog here, to see how the designers create
with each kit.

I would like to enter my page in a challenge called 'Silver & Gold'
on the blog 'Evolution Scrap'. I was inspired by all the gold glitter,
the festive wreath, and the wood pieces in the moodboard, so I added some pine cones,
a little piece of tree, and a few little pieces of moss.

More on this challenge here.

This is a 13 arts chipboard title that I covered in gold glitter.
It's such a pity that I can't seem to get my photos to reflect how sparkly
this page is, there's a lot of shimmering gold ink, glitter, and little bits
of some Christmas decorations all tucked in there.

I treated myself to some of those Prima Memory Hardware pearls that come in a tin in the prettiest colors, aren't they gorgeous? A perfect touch together with my favourite part of this kit,
the tiny jingle bells.

Thanks for looking!
Stay warm,
Lisa xo

'Magic' a new canvas for 13 arts

Hello my lovely friends...I'm back to share with you a canvas I made for 13 arts
inspired by the amazing new moodboard designed by our Natalya Loi.

'Magic'

As I was staring at Natalya's fun glittery photos I saw this canvas in my mind, with a
deep black background and some pink glittery hearts, and this is what happened.
I messily spread some 13 arts black gesso on a small canvas, then used some 13 arts modeling
paste through a few stencils, and then added some beautiful 13 arts inks in pink and gold.

Here is our new challenge...

More on the challenge here, I hope you join in the fun!
There is always a great prize to be won!
Also...did you see the 13 arts Design Team callout?
You can see more info on that post here.

Here are some closies:

I altered a pretty 2 Crafty Chipboard heart piece and a snowflake by applying
some 13 arts Pink Metallic paint, and then sprinkled on some 13 arts Pink Glitter,
love how it turned out.

Thanks for looking,
Lisa xo

More Christmas tags....

Hi girls! I'm back with another set of Christmas tags...this time in pink.
These are my last creations for 2 Crafty Chipboard using some yummy chippies
that I have grown to love.

'Believe'
'Tidings of Comfort and Joy'

I started with some Kaisercraft paper glued to some chipboard tags and then added some 13 arts pink spray and some stamping with a set of Christmas stamps I found buried in my ever-growing stash.
Then I layered on some 2 Crafty chipboard pieces that I embossed in sparkly light pink embossing powder, some flowers and a few little pinecones (my favourite little addition lately).

I have really enjoyed being on this team and will miss all the sweet girls whose work
I have admired for the past year and a half.
For a stocklist of where to buy 2 Crafty please go here,
and don't forget to check out the 2 Crafty blog here,
lot's of girls do tutorials of how they alter chipboard and there's
loads of inspiration to be found.

My tree is still up...I've decided to leave it up until Epiphany, no one in my house wants Christmas
to be over...wishing you a lovely day,
Lisa xo
