'Only You'

Hello girls, I have a vintage art journal spread to share today created
with the March Scraps of Elegance kit.

'Only You'

I love doing these spreads and when I saw the vintage images in one of the Scrapberry's papers
included in this month's Paper Add On, I knew what I wanted to do. The cool stamp in the main kit
really added a lot to the design too. I created a messy background using some Lindy's inks, and then layered on some lace, and the Petaloo flowers from the Floral Add On.

The best way to make sure you never miss a kit is to become a subscriber,
more info on that here, and don't forget to check out our blog here.

I saw a wonderful post all about art journaling in old books, and there
were some lovely examples of different styles that you can try,
you can find that post here.

'Portrait of a Lady'

Hi girls, I'm back with another garden page....
this seems to be my style lately, just lots of textures, flowers and in this case,
lots of bright spring colors bursting through.

'Portrait of a Lady'

This is my second page with the lovely March kit 'Hello Beautiful'. I always order the Paper Add On each month as there are always some papers that compliment the main kit papers, and this month's add on included some pretty vintage papers by Scrapberry's.

To purchase our kits please go here, and don't forget to stop by our blog to see all the
different interpretations of our kits by our design team, here.

I found a challenge called 'Boho Style' on one of my favourite shabby chic blogs
called 'Vintage Card Cafe'. I was inspired by the gypsy style of all the photos
in this post, the vintage flair, and ultra feminine look with lots of lace.
To read an amazing post all about this style please go here, it's really well done :)

Here is the challenge:

Here are a few close ups:

This month's kit had some really pretty lavender flowers that I added here with some
green twine, and some sisal to give the page a natural look.

I also used some super pretty Prima flowers from the Floral Add On,
some of the gold Prima trim, the tiny white pearl beads from the kit,
the Graphic 45 chipboards,
and lots of gold beads and pearls from my stash.

 Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Lisa xo

'Believe in Yourself'

Hello my crafty girls.....I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and get some crafty time
to do what you love...we have a brand new kit from Scraps of Elegance called
'Hello Beautiful' that I started playing with last night....

'Believe in Yourself'

This kit is chock full of Graphic 45 'Portrait of a Lady' collection...
papers, chipboards, stickers the whole shebang.
Green is not an easy color for me at all, but I saw the rich green of this paper and after choosing
this pretty image from the paper 'Maria' I decided to go wild and crazy and create a little garden
as a backdrop to this lovely girl, full of flowers and leaves. I fussy cut some roses out of one of the papers and tucked them in here and there and I also used a die to cut out some branches.

Here is the kit for March:

To find out where to purchase our kits please check out our online store here.
And don't forget to check out our blog here, for lots of ideas to make with our kits!

Here are a few close ups:

I created a messy background by adding lots of heavy white gesso,
some stamping and then using lots of inks to add some colors.
Then I layered on a few 2 Crafty chipboard pieces that I embossed in gold,
some pieces of the gold Prima trim and lots of flowers.

I also added one of the Prima metal charms that I glued on underneath an image cut out
from one of the kit papers.

I hope I have inspired you with my wild garden page :)
See you soon,
Lisa xo
