Hi girls! I have another layout to share created for 13 arts using the
super gorgeous paper collection called 'Out of the Blue' designed by the super
talented 13 arts designer Olga Heldwein.
'Memories'
My mum and Dad are here visiting us this month and she brought with her some old family photos for me to scan into my computer, and I'm so happy she did, they really inspire me to scrap something pretty to preserve these tiny pieces of family history. This one is of my mum as a flower girl in her Aunt's wedding. I started with the paper called 'Blue Mood' and covered it in 13 arts clear gesso. Then I applied some 13 arts heavy white gesso through a stencil, and then I used some Ayeeda Splash ink in Matte Blue and some Ayeeda paint in Matte Green to really bring my background to life.
(BTW Ayeeda has been making little pots of beautiful acrylic paints and inks way before Prima ever did!) I love how you can water down the paints a little to use them like watercolors or use them as they are for a more matte look.
For a full list of 13 arts products I used, please visit my 13 arts blog post here.

I added a few pieces of 2 Crafty Chipboard to my layout as well.
Thanks for looking!
Big hugs, Lisa xo
Oh wow! I love what you can do with old photos and the fact that you're also preserving family history is fabulous! I adore this - that background is stunning!
