Hello girls! I'm back to share my first layout created with the Scraps
of Elegance kit called 'Country Chic' full of 49 & Market goodies.
One of the prettiest papers of the Cottage Life collection included in this kit
is 'Branching Out', which I used as my base and then created a messy
background with heavy white gesso and lots of watercolors.

I also tried a new way of using embossing powder that I've seen some of my favourite scrappers do.
You start with a stencil and use either gloss gel or light gesso, and then while it's still wet,
sprinkle over the embossing powder and dry with your heat gun. I tried it here with the purple
Lindy's embossing powder included in the main kit, and I love how it turned out.

All of our kits and Add Ons sell out super fast so the best way not to
miss anything is to become a subscriber, more info on that here.
And for some inspiration on what to create with our kits, check out
our blog here.
Here are a few close ups:
I was so excited to see some silicone molds and paper clay in the Creativity Add On
this month! I've been wanting to try them for so long. The molds are so easy to use!
All you do is press the paper clay into the mold, carefully remove, and let dry over night.
You can paint them or use waxes, here I just used a little watercolor on one of the keyholes.
Here is a list of everything I used from the Main kit, the Creativity Add On,
and the Elements Add On:
49 & Market paper 'Branching Out'
49 & Market Teal Roses
49 & Market Cottage Life Layered Embellishments
Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder 'Pop Rock Purple'
Blue Fern Studios 'Country Garden' Stamp
Scrapberry's Metal Charms
Prima IOD Keyhole Mold
See you soon,
Lisa xo
